Getting to Merseyway really couldn’t be easier.

The train station is just a five minute walk away, plus we have a bus station right on our doorstep! If you prefer to drive, we’re just off the M60.Getting to Merseyway really couldn’t be easier.

BY CAR

Merseyway is easily accessible from the M60, take Junction 1 also known as ‘The Pyramid’ and follow the signs to Stockport town centre.

If you’re using a sat nav, key in SK1 1HG for the St Petersgate/High Bank entrance to our top-level car park.

BY BUS

Stockport’s main bus station is conveniently located, opposite the entrance to Merseyway on Mersey Square.

There are many, frequent bus services running to and from Manchester, all areas around south Manchester and the wider Greater Manchester region.

FREE METRO SHUTTLE

Stockport’s Metro Shuttle is a free bus service operating around Stockport town centre. It runs every 12 minutes on a circular route via Merseyway.

On Mondays to Saturdays from 8am to 6pm and on Sundays from 10.30am to 5pm.

Just ask the driver for ‘Merseyway’ if you’re not familiar with the area.

BY TRAIN

Stockport is a West Coast mainline station with trains running frequently to and from Manchester and surrounding towns and villages.

WALK FROM STATION

Merseyway is a short walk from Stockport station – turn left out of the station main entrance (ticket hall side) and walk down to the main road (A6 Wellington Road).

Cross over Wellington Road at Pelican crossing and walk down the hill to Mersey Square where you’ll see the main entrance to Merseyway on your right.

Alternatively you can jump on the free metro shuttle or get a taxi from the rank outside the station.

BY FOOT

Getting to Merseyway on foot is simple. Situated in the heart of the city it is easy to find and only 5 minutes from the nearest train station.
